Meals on Wheels Haywood County
The mission of Haywood County Meals on Wheels is to provide nutritious meals, friendly visits, and safety checks that enable homebound seniors to live with independence and dignity while remaining in their homes.
YARNCRAFTERS MINISTRY
Long’s Chapel charity knitters! They make sweaters, hats, lap robes, leg warmers, Pea Pods, scarves, shawls, and more. Items go to local community agencies.
CHRISTMAS ANGELS
The mission of Christmas Angels is to share the love and joy of the Christmas season for those in less fortunate circumstances in Haywood County. We strive to come alongside families, exemplifying the love of Christ.
Second Season Thrift Store and Pantry
The Second Season Pantry is a free grocery store for our neighbors who are unable to make ends meet or are food insecure where they can select groceries of their choosing. The shopper's name and how many in the household are being fed are the only requirements. Limitations include only one visit per week and limited quantities on food items.
Child Enrichment Center
Long's Chapel Child Enrichment Center is a ministry of Long's Chapel that seeks to reflect the highest Christian values and the best of care for children. Long's Chapel CEC enrolls over 100 children throughout the year.
GLOBAL MISSIONARIES
Long’s Chapel REACH supports international missionaries in Russia, Nicaragua, Armenia, and North Africa.
